Overview The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, coordinate interviews, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the People Operations Coordinator will support general HR operations, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, role expectations, and hiring priorities.
Develop and post job descriptions across recruiting platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
Source candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
Conduct resume reviews, phone screenings, and initial candidate assessments.
Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Extend employment offers and assist with compensation coordination and negotiation processes.
HR Operations & Employee Support
Support onboarding activities including new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and system setup.
Maintain accurate employee and recruiting records within HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, HR programs, and company events.
Support HR compliance activities including I-9 verification, background checks, and employment documentation.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and recruiting processes.
Recruiting Strategy & Process Improvement
Assist in developing recruiting strategies to attract high-quality and diverse talent.
Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, candidate experience, and hiring processes.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
Participate in employer branding initiatives and recruiting events as needed.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with hiring managers, department leaders, and external recruiting partners.
Provide regular recruiting updates and hiring status reports to leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support workforce planning and staffing initiatives.
Ensure recruiting activities align with company policies, culture, and business goals.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience preferred.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruiting tools.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar tools.

Compensation
Full-Time, Exempt
$70,000-$95,000/year, DOE
