Overview
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. The Front Desk Receptionist will manage the reception area, handle incoming calls, provide administrative support, and ensure a positive experience for all guests while maintaining efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and presentable.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
- Order and maintain office supplies and inventory.
- Support various departments with clerical and administrative duties.
- Respond to general inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 1+ years of receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Experience using multi-line phone systems.
- Experience with scheduling software or office management systems.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and scanners.
- Office-based position.
- Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required based on business needs.
Compensation
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- $20-$30/hr., DOE
